Name: Anthy Himemiya
Canon: Revolutionary Girl Utena
Overview: Anthy is a supernatural personage of unknown age, currently posing as a fourteen-year-old middle school student. She's also the Rose Bride, the prize given to the current winner of the duel cycle to bring the Revolution of the World. In her role as the Rose Bride, Anthy exhibits adopts a facade of pleasant docility, subsuming all indications of personality to follow her fiancee's wishes, but in her innermost heart she's bitter, cynical, and vindictive. She likes animals more than people.
Motivation: Since I plan to take her from about a third of the way through the series, just after the end of the Student Council arc, I figure just being asked by her older brother is enough. She'd also do it if the current champion of the duels told her to, but Utena wouldn't. (Akio, however, is a callous enough jerk that he totally would.)
Powers: She has a big old blade stuck in her chest named the Sword of Dios that she can manifest for her fiance to fight with. As you do. Also, she's technically a projection of her true body, which is being pierced by thousands of swords of hate. As you are. She has other spoopy powers, but those shouldn't be an issue here.
